Yet another food recall
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced another food recall—this time it’s peaches that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The recall includes yellow and white peaches sold in California between Sept. 16 and Oct. 29, 2025, and was issued by Moonlight Companies.
The peaches were available individually and in multi-packs at major retailers, including Kroger, Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, and Food Lion, excluding those labeled "Washington" and/or "Organic."

Slipstream
I bought an apple and a pear at Sprouts the other day. I considered the peaches, but decided to wait. Whew! Thanks; I'll steer clear of peaches for a while.
Evangel
Our food supply used to be safe. I don't ever remember worrying about eating something I purchased at a supermarket. It was a given. Now it's anything but.
