Teen smoking on the decline
Great news, unless you're a tobacco farmer or work for a tobacco company—the rate of teen smoking in the US has dropped to the lowest levels in 25 years. In 1999, an estimated 30% of middle and high schoolers smoked, and this year it's down to 1.7%
The Centers for Disease Control says the drop is attributed to the decline in E-cigarette usage, which had been the most popular tobacco product among teens. This isn't surprising since these companies directly targeted this demographic with candy and cereal-flavored nicotine formulas.
Tobacco companies are insidious entities that do not value human life. I'm encouraged when legislation successfully punishes them and impedes product sales.

This is great news. Kids getting hooked on tobacco at a young age turns into major health issues later on. Whatever it takes to crush the tobacco industry, it should be done. Thanks for posting!
