Tech neck is a postural and structural imbalance that has become very common with computers and especially smartphones. Not only does tech neck impact the neck, spine, and shoulder regions, but it can also alter the position of the rib cage and diaphragm which affects oxygen intake.
Along with headaches, neck and shoulder pain, and stiffness, tech neck can create a significant stress load on the body, and we all know additional stress is the last thing we need.

As a fitness trainer and wellness coach, my passion for over 20 years has been to help people feel healthier and better in their bodies. My April pledge is to offer a complimentary, one-on-one, online tech neck session to the first three Youtropolis members who sign up. My goal will be to teach helpful techniques to improve your neck posture brought on by hours of screen time. Specifically, you will learn how to properly position your body while using your computer and smartphone, how to make your workspace more ergonomically sound, and tips to increase the mobility of your neck, shoulders, and spine.
