This is a powerful reminder. It’s so easy to live life going through the day-to-day motions. People do it all the time — unhappy, exhausted, and stuck. It takes a lot of strength and courage to define what it is we value and take steps to move toward it.

Sometimes you have to do something only to learn after you're doing it, it's not what you expected or wanted. Or maybe it works for a while, but like the frog in the pot of hot water, there comes a time to jump out before you boil to death. Very True, You get so wrapped up in the day to day process that you forget to smell the roses along the way.

I agree. This woman had the means and privilege to walk away from her illustrious career. Many who feel trapped in killer jobs aren't so fortunate. But we can all encourage those who are seeking a way out, and support them through their transition through any means we have.
