Just because it's been "triple washed" doesn't seem to make a difference. You have to do your own washing, spraying, rinsing, and then cross your fingers it's safe. I love spinach, but rarely buy it now because it's one of the big offenders.
McDonald's is a good example of the risks in eating out. And it doesn't matter if it's fast food or high-end. I have a friend who got hepatitis after eating at a very upscale restaurant. Imagine paying $100 for a meal tainted with hepatitis—yuck! Thanks for posting this very informative article.
