Wedding Ring Heroes

News Flash

When Melanie Harper lost her wedding ring in a bin at a local recycling center, she didn't expect to see it again. Finding it would be a classic "needle in a haystack" scenario. She figured she had nothing to lose by contacting the city's public works department to ask if they could keep an eye out for it.

In a refreshing gesture of care and concern, they not only kept an eye out, but several workers upended the contents of the entire bin and began hunting for the ring. After hours of searching, Harper got a call that her gold ring had been found by an employee fittingly named Travis Golden.

I agree that stories like these are good for the soul.
