Listeria contamination food recall

The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced another food recall for possible Listeria contamination.
M.C.I. Foods Inc. in California is recalling breakfast burrito and wrap products that may be contaminated. The “El Más Fino” and “Los Cabos” brands, packaged both individually and in bulk, were produced between Sept. 17 and October 14.
The FSIS was notified of a positive Listeria result in the product’s scrambled egg ingredient. Though there have been no reports of illness, it can take up to 70 days for Listeria infection symptoms to develop.
In healthy adults, symptoms are flu-like, including fever and nausea. In vulnerable groups, like the elderly and pregnant women, Listeria infections can spread beyond the gut and into the bloodstream and brain.

Thank you for this information. Thankfully, this is not the food I eat, but good to know to inform others.
