Here's your mega-dose of inspiration

News Flash

Last week, while at the gym, I glanced up at the TV monitor and witnessed a superhuman. On the screen was footage of a man sprinting on a track, but it wasn’t just his speed that made my jaw drop. What blew my mind was that he had NO LEGS!! He was sprinting with his arms and hands. Additional footage showed him performing insane feats of strength with literally half a body.

As soon as I got home, I did an internet search for “Legless super athlete,” and there he was, Zion Clark. I learned that Zion has gained some well-deserved notoriety over the past few years, including a short Netflix documentary.

Zion was born with a rare congenital condition called Caudal Regression Syndrome, which prevented the development of his lower spine and legs. As if this weren’t enough of a challenge, Zion grew up in several foster homes where he was often abused.

Fortunately, he was ultimately adopted by an angel named Kimberly Hawkins, who helped instill in him self-acceptance, confidence, and his bulletproof “No Excuses” mindset.

Check out his appearance on America’s Got Talent and be amazed, and think of Zion for inspiration to knock out the “I can’t” frame of mind.

Stunning. You can't watch it without the tears rolling. I'll think of this the next time I start to complain. Thanks so much.

Wonderland

Yup. Most of us have no reason to complain.

Faithville

Inspirational indeed thanks for sharing!

Evangel

Holy smokes! Imagine if everyone on this planet could embrace his spirit. He is just so wild in the best kind of way, radical in his approach to life, showing the world what it's like to dismiss all the naysayers and say yes to the power within.

Wilsons Grave

What a feat! I'm going to save this and show it to all the complainers I know who keep griping they can't do something cause it's too dang hard.
