"Good Brain Tonic" gets recalled

News Flash

Liquid Blenz is a company that sells a variety of herbal tonics advertised to reduce belly fat, boost libido, detox the liver, and increase overall health. One of their products, known as Good Brain Tonic, has been recalled due to Botulism contamination.

Good Brain Tonic contains herbs like Ginkgo biloba, Lion’s Mane, and Ashwaganda, and the company claims it improves cognitive function and combats mental fatigue. Botulism, however, will do neither.

Symptoms of botulism poisoning include double vision, slurred speech, and difficulty swallowing. If left untreated, paralysis of certain muscles, including the diaphragm, used for breathing, can occur, resulting in death.

The Good Brain Tonic was distributed nationwide in retail stores and online. The UPC for the 16-ounce size is 860010984468, and for the 32-ounce size it is 860010984475.
