For my fellow coffee enthusiasts

Amusement

In all the years I've ordered coffee, never have I asked for a grande, venti, or trenta. Small, medium, and large work fine for me.

Call me unsophisticated, but this "No Nonsense Coffee Guide" is my kind of menu.

I agree. The coffee lingo is crazy. This says it like it is.

It is humorous. Knowing the Italian language, I understand that venti means 20 (representing a 20 oz cup), and trenta means 30 (oz) which is the full capacity of an average stomach. That means venti will almost fill you up, and having a trenta will make your stomach wish you weren't such a glutton.
