What Was This Ride Like For Her?

It's impossible to know what was going through her mind, but the image leaves me wondering what that ride must have been like for her.

Sickening. The new klansmen calling themselves patriots, wearing face masks and ball caps instead of white hoods. They were going to hear their buddy Trump give them some love. They didn't care about her. These lost souls only cared about coming to "daddy," being seen by him, and getting his validation.

Exactly, white hoods and torches exchanged for a new name, baseball caps, and the American Flag. They aren't patriots; they're racists.

Thank God I have never been in a situation where I had to even consider what she was thinking.
I'm reminded it is not the first time in our history this type of event has occurred...shocking it still is happening in 2026.
What I would say to her if I could, "Sweetie you are the bravest person I know. You are a role model and you don't even know it. We could all learn something from the quiet attentive courage you embody."

I feel sorry for these dudes. I agree they're lost souls because they feel weak deep down. Someone put them down and they've never gotten over it. All they can do is seek approval in the company of other men who feel just as weak but pretend otherwise...no different than dudes who join gangs.
