A hammer and saw and the will to help
It warms my heart to see young people stepping up to make a real difference in their communities, and Simon Starnes is a shining example. At just 14, while volunteering with his family at Sister BJ’s Pantry, Simon noticed the outdoor seating for the homeless patrons was in bad shape. Instead of just walking by, he took it upon himself to fix it. Despite his limited experience, Simon's kindness and determination led him to rebuild four beautiful picnic tables, creating a more welcoming space for everyone.

Bravo, Simon.
Working toward becoming an Eagle Scout at just 14, he possesses ingenuity and gumption. Taking it upon himself to learn how to build new tables to improve patrons' experience exemplifies those qualities.

He's setting a great example for kids his age and adults as well. I agree, he deserves a "Bravo!".
