The gift of giving

Brotherly love inspired Clay to donate a kidney to his brother. Although he wasn’t a match for his brother, as a part of the UCLA donor program, he was able to help a woman who had been waiting years for a matching kidney, and his brother also received a miracle gift. This is one of those feel-good stories that we all need.

What a wonderful story. In every way, it points to the truth that we can all help each other, and give even a stranger a longer life. I know that God did not put us on this earth to threaten, harm, or kill each other. That highest intelligence that gives us life put us here to bring beauty and joy to each other.
As medical care takes a serious nosedive in our country to fund wars overseas, and now throughout the American continent, we must all pray for each other and do what we can to help each other. Thank you for another reminder that there is goodness everywhere waiting to be harnessed.
