Altadena is growing again

After the California Eaton Fire tore through their hillside town, neighbors returned to the Altadena Community Garden to restore their beloved garden. For more than fifty years, this two-acre patch of earth has been a favorite meeting place—a space where strangers become friends and neighbors become family. 

Now, as Altadena’s gardeners dig back in, they’re celebrating the reclamation of their community and the new beginning of their beloved garden. Their hard work and ingenious planning are an inspiration to us all. There’s more to read in this heartening article.
