Conscious listening
I pledge to rein in my mind and be fully present to what another is saying in the moment.
When I'm having a conversation, I sometimes let my mind get pulled away by a thought that is triggered by what the person has said. I may burst into the conversation stepping on what the other person is saying, or I can lose track of what is being said in that moment. So, as of right now, I pledge to let go of this old habit and begin to practice conscious listening.

How are you letting go of the habit? Is there some hack you're using? We could all benefit from it if there is.

I'm getting better. I've caught myself ready to open my mouth and was able to stop before interrupting. One hack is I lightly bite down on the inside of my upper lip thus trapping my tongue inside my mouth, and that works well 🤐
