Consumer Reports recently called out Kroger's, which includes Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, and a few others, for charging customers full price on sale items. So, buyers beware—when you check out, watch the register and review your receipt before leaving the store. There's a general lack of morality everywhere it seems. At least we can avoid these entities that apparently see no wrong in cheating its customers.

When working as a supermarket cashier, customers would occasionally ask me not to begin scanning their items until they finished unloading the cart and could watch the prices as they came up on the screen. I, and the customers in line, found this annoying, but now I'm far more sympathetic.

This is a good reminder to pay more attention to price tags and receipts. Thank you!
