All this while the very real threat of an AI bubble looms. Between the sky-high expectations for demand, the mind-boggling investment spending, and the uncertainty about when or if those investments will produce profits, analysts are placing figurative palms over their ears, preparing for a tinnitus-inducing "POP."
Reportedly, both Meta and Musk's XAI have slowed their data center expansion efforts, as the projected business and consumer demand hasn't materialized. This is no consolation for families like the Browns.

I didn't know about Musk and Meta slowing down. I don't like to express ill-will, but when people who have too much money don't give a thought about people they are hurting, I can't help but hope they reap what they sow.

It's heartbreaking, and frustrating that no one is stopping this menacing freight train that will enrich just a few for a split second and leave a wreckage behind.
