Be A Loneliness Liberator

Wish has not yet been granted
Wishing Well

More often than we know, we all get too busy with life. The day's end comes and we wonder why so little got done. We tell ourselves we don't have time to socialize, to call someone, to reach out and put a smile on someone's face.

A loneliness liberator does the opposite. They carve out time to say "Hello." Even if it's a quick text, a brief phone call, or sending a free post card through youtropolis.

We all might feel lonely one day if we're too busy today. We can avoid the pain of loneliness if we remember to call on old friends or family--especially if they're alone or lonely--and brighten their day. My wish today is for anyone who reads this to reach out to someone they feel they don't have time for. It will make the other person feel like they matter, and it will make you happy.

Here's a beautiful song as inspiration:

So beautiful, and thank you for the reminder to slow down enough to think about others and take action.

I did just that today… a quick text that made my 90 year old cousin very happy😊

What an appropriate name, "Loneliness Liberator."

I know how good it feels to hear "thank you" from someone when I reach out to them. When I am the recipient of a call it feels equally satisfying.

While I do my best to stay in touch with people in my life I do get caught up in all the things I think I have to do. When people I care about fall off my radar I feel badly so I figured out if I write their names in my calendar like an appointment it reminds me to call or text.

Nice walk down memory lane hearing the song, Hello Again. Thank you for sharing that as well as the reminder to keep reaching out.

The world always feels sane and sensible in this space. It's like everyone magically has their head screwed on right. It assures me the world hasn't totally gone full-tilt crazy yet. I appreciate your reminder to take account of others and be there for them, even in the business of life.
