Liberator in Action: Prime Minister Frederiksen

News Flash

Walk softly and carry an olive branch, then sit and negotiate over a heartwarming cup of tea. This is the new order of diplomacy taking Europe by storm, and it’s being led by a woman. It even has a name: Hygge diplomacy.

Mette Frederiksen, Denmark’s Prime Minister, continues to draw attention as she circumvents the day’s volatility, outsmarts America in its grab of Greenland, and sutures the rupture felt between close allies—all while keeping threats from spiraling into spectacle.

In Frederiksen’s style of diplomacy, there’s no trading public blows. Something cozier and heartfelt is emerging, bringing a much needed cohesion among European allies based on relationship-building and shared values. War is avoidable. Shared strategic interests are negotiable and attainable. But no one is going to be bullied, as long as Frederiksen is Prime Minister.

With her enlightened values and style of leadership, Frederiksen is not only a breath of fresh air among leaders, she’s a dynamic liberator in action who’s challenging the rise of strongmen vying for power in a world acclimating to their constant disruptions.

I'm sure that Steven Miller and others who believe we live in a world "… that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power,” would, on the surface, regard Miss Frederiksen’s diplomatic style as weak, laughable, and a pathway to subjugation.

However, it's conceivable that beneath their bluster and "big D" swagger, there may be intimidation from such a style because they themselves are utterly incapable of creating a spirit of unity and enthusiastic cooperation.
