10K steps, which is approximately 4 miles, can seem unattainable, and is for many. It's myths like these that discourage people from taking action to move more and live healthier lives.

We should always keep in mind that much of what we see, hear, and read is simply trying to get us to buy something. Our health and welfare isn't really their concern. It's their shareholders that are the ones they're trying to please. Thanks for posting this as a reminder not to jump on board before we know the facts.

Thanks for your news post. My personal view is that we, alone, are the best arbiters of what our body requires in any given moment or what it does not. No two humans are alike. One size or method does not fit all. But I agree that getting out for a good walk, especially when the air is clear and the sun is shining, is physically refreshing, mentally rewarding, and emotionally healing.
