Engineer Keith Settles climbs up Alfa III, the static test stand for rocket booster engines. This is the stand where the booster for Saturday's man-in-space orbital shot was tested in 1960. The test was conducted at Rocketdyne's Santa Susana Field Laboratory in Simi Valley.
