Thoughts, Thoughts, and More Thoughts!

Knowledge

There are so many that run through your minds, every day--too many too count. A lot of them are negative; so negative in fact, they ruin your day.

So here's the deal . . . my old friend Aristotle believed, and I wholeheartedly agree with him, that just because the thoughts come, doesn't mean you have to accept them. You do have a thing called WILL, and with that WILL, you can accomplish the impossible.

If that's true, how hard can it be to stop repetitive, obsessive, negative thoughts from consuming you?

Next time that nasty thought, or thoughts, tries to flood your mind, don't accept it. Simply shut the door on it. Actually visualize a door slamming before the thought can get cozy and start harassing you. Then come back to the Now, where you can actual handle what's going on. I bet your day will be a lot more stress free.

Enjoy!

That pesky, recurring chatter can lead to so much negativity. It's never helpful or positive, so closing the door and not entertaining it is the very best solution for sure.

What's funny is that when you're trying to close the door, other people's thoughts, negative thoughts, try to sneak in!!!
