I wish I could speak a different language…a better language
full of words that shoot straight from the heart
that are honest, but kind
truthful and tender
worthy of my best self
so they can be heard without triggering
those I love.
I wish for a language that breathes life into the other
and leaves the other feeling better…
more beautiful...
comforted…
filled with hope…
at peace…
rested…

and blessed once more.
