I finally heard the explanation behind why the insurance subsidies should be allowed to expire, courtesy of Lindsey Graham. He said there are people making upwards of $400,000 annually who receive a government-funded break on their medical benefits, and that has to stop.
Sure, Lindsey, that makes perfect sense. I'm happy to have my costs doubled for the greater good.
