Sunday Sound Bath: Time's Horizon

God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?”
– William Arthur Ward
As the world changes rapidly before my eyes, I feel pressed for time. I wonder how much time we have before our lives are forced into the “unimaginable” landscape of a totalitarian regime.
Time has its own horizon. I can see it, but I can’t predict its distance or how long it will take to get there. But I can predict Americans are all in the same boat sailing toward that deadly new destiny.
Personally, I’m asking myself what else can I do to help this boat correct course, so I continue to pray for wisdom. And I have you in my prayers, feeling gratitude for the guidance you’re seeking, and for the time and goodness you’re giving in your own way to pull us out from this storm.
Like me, it’s possible the fear of not having enough time haunts you. If so, count it as a blessing. It’s one more flare in the sky signaling a very rude awakening is fast approaching if we don’t take action to stop it now.
During this coming week, I will share my thoughts on actions we should all be taking to help stave off a collapse of our democracy.
In keeping with my pledge to post a Sunday sound bath, here’s “Time”—a powerful piece of music by Hans Zimmer. I hope it reminds you how powerful you can be when the time you’ve been given is used with gratitude, purpose and heart.
