Bernie's a straight shooter—he says it like it is. Sure, maybe he could’ve been a bit tougher, but he made his point loud and clear: this president cares more about his own and his friends' wealth than he does about the everyday struggles of regular folks like us. And if we’re going to see any real change, it’s not going to come from sitting around waiting for these politicians to grow a conscience. The American people have to push hard and fight for what we need—not just whatever scraps the wealthy decide to toss our way.
Unfortunately the people didn’t listen or learn from his last stint. He was not only voted in but had control of house & senate. For two years we’re screwed but in 2026 we can vote out his allies and give checks & balance's again to the government.
Trump has no respect for nation or its laws. They don't exist for him. He's been handed a free pass by corrupt supreme court justices and taken it. And to prove he has no interest in the law, he's pardoning the worst type of lawbreakers including a jailed dark web drug lord and a Jan 6. seditionist who was also in jail for downloading child pornography. He has plans to run again. He'll find his own way around that law, and voting laws to ensure another victory.
"...we must make the wealthiest individuals in this country, yes, those sitting right beside DT at his inaugural, start paying their fair share of taxes." If that one thing were to happen, many of the problems in this country would be solved, but oligarchs don't care about making things right for people like us.
Real change may come when enough people get educated on how to take advantage of the same tax loopholes the wealthy use to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.
We're in the midst of an insidious drive to overthrow democracy. It's happening in the open now. Those who still don't believe it have been totally schnookered.

The loopholes are only available to the oligarchs—the tax system is rigged to benefit the wealthiest and corporations.

We can talk about this.
