Is Damocles Sword Dangling Over Trump’s Head?

There was no cease-fire in Ukraine. No “severe consequences” as a result, despite Trump’s threat. Just another bluff to entertain us all.
But, there was a big, beautiful red carpet to welcome the imperial dictator and war criminal. A nod of approval. Of brotherhood. Of submission to evil. Two leaders: one gleeful, the other obsequious, even gushing over the other.
The world watched, appalled.
Then our loyal allies arrived to help save the day. No carpet of any color rolled out for them. The President dissed their arrival.
Someone please tell me, what’s wrong with this picture? Is Putin in possession of the Epstein files? Is that his sword of Damocles dangling over Trump’s head?

There is definitely “something” that Putin had which warrants this blind, disgusting loyalty to Putin and betrayal of our country and democracy.

I have a client who believes it has to do with Deutsche Bank; how they were the one institution willing to lend Trump money after his many bankruptcies, and how they continued doing so after he defaulted.
Perhaps Putin pulled those levers that came with an agreement that Trump will always ask, "How high, sir?" when Putin says, "Jump."
