Log in and Password
If you are currently signed out and want to log into your account:
- Click Sign In above
- Enter your email address or your Youtropolis city name
- Enter your password
- Select the Remember me checkbox to be directed to your city home page the next time you visit
- Click the Sign In button
Please note that if you or someone else is logged into another Youtropolis account on your computer, you must first log out of that Youtropolis city before signing in to yours. To log out of another city:
- click the 3 dot Manage menu at the top right
- select Sign out from the drop down menu
If you're returning to your city's home page but find that you're logged out:
- Tap/click the "Hamburger" menu located on the upper right of your city page
- Click Sign In
- On the log in page, enter your email address or your Youtropolis city name
- Enter your password
- Select the Remember me checkbox to be directed to your city home page the next time you visit
- Click the Sign In button.
If you have forgotten your city name, you can log in using your email address:
- On the log in page, enter your email address instead of your city name
- Enter your password
- Select the Remember me checkbox to be directed to your city's home page the next time you visit
- Tap/click the Sign in button
If you've forgotten your account's email address or can't log into your account, try logging in with your city name:
- On the log in page, enter your Youtropolis city name instead of your email address
- Enter your password
- Select the Remember me checkbox to be directed to your city home page the next time you visit
- Tap/click the Sign in button
Play it safe! If you are using Youtropolis on a shared or public computer, make it a habit to always log out before ending your session. Here's how:
- Select the 3 dot Manage menu in the upper right of your city page
- Tap/click Sign out
- Sign in
- On desktop and mobile, select the 3 dot Manage menu on the top right, then choose Settings
- If you don't remember your current password, select "Forget your password?" and follow those instructions
- If on desktop, scroll down and enter your Current Password
- If on mobile, select your Account and scroll to enter your Current Password
- Enter your new password into the New Password field
- Enter your new password again into the Confirm Password field
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and click/tap Save
If you are having trouble logging into your account, here's how to request a new password:
- Select the sign in link
- On the login page, scroll down to just below the log in fields and select Forgot your password?
- Enter your email address or city name
- Check "I'm not a robot"
- Click the Send reset request button
Updating your app to the latest version improves app stability and security and includes latest fixes, new features, and an improved user experience.
To manually update your app on your iPhone or iPad
Apps that you download from the App Store are automatically updated by default. But if you run into an issue, you can update our App manually. Here's how:
- Open the App Store
- Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen
- Scroll to see pending updates and release notes and tap Update next to the Youtropolis app to update it
To manually update your app on your Android device
- Open the Google Play Store app
- At the top right, tap the profile icon
- Tap Manage apps & device (apps with an update available are labeled "Update available"
- Select Youtropolis and tap Update
