New Music Video "One Voice"
Last year my church had completed its new member classes and was readying for their baptism. This particular group were ages 15-18. I was struck with the eloquence of three of the 15 year olds in particular talking about their faith.
Later the Pastor made this observation, “Their hearts are on fire, filled with the desire to learn more about Jesus. Wouldn't it be great if we could be praising Jesus in one voice.” Those words resonated with me so strongly I wrote them down on the church bulletin. I went home and was given the words to write the song, One Voice.

Once again your beautiful calming voice, carefully arranged music, and stunning visuals combined with a powerful invitation touch a tender place in my heart.
I have listened to this song several times and I cannot get through it without weeping. The idea that all God's children could some day "sing in one voice" is so hopeful. I was thinking it doesn't even have to be the same language, just the same sound because music is a universal language.
I do believe that our children can make an impact on our world because they have the combination of an unparalleled global reach, digital tools and believe they have a core duty to improve the world. If we give them words to live by, their hearts will be on fire.
As a nation, a world, we are so in trouble and need help to navigate back to caring about humanity. Whether praying to God or Jesus or the sun...my hope is that more people feel the hunger you talk about and find a way to appropriately feed it. Your words invite me to ask myself "What am I doing to be a daily living example of God's teaching about love, forgiveness and compassion."
