Rising costs? Here’s how to beat the system.

Knowledge

Savings Grace is about finding simple ways to spend a little less, make a little extra, and get more out of the money you already have.

With the cost of just about everything going up, saving for a rainy day can feel out of reach. It doesn’t have to be. A few dollars here and there can add up to more than you think.

Put aside $5 this week. Or $10. If that’s too much, put aside $2. The amount matters less than getting into the habit of keeping a little extra money for yourself or your family.

And keep doing it. Those small amounts add up and become more than you imagined possible.

Think you don’t have even a penny to spare? I’ll prove you wrong.

That’s what we’re going to do here together. Finding the little ways to spend less, using what we already have, making things last, and occasionally finding a way to bring in a few extra dollars.

Your First Savings Grace Assignment:

Start with a small amount you can comfortably save this week. Remember, no amount is too small—even if it’s a quarter, save it.

Put it in a separate envelope, jar, savings account, or wherever you know you won’t spend it by accident. Then leave it alone.

That’s it. You’ve made your first step toward having a little more money left over.

We’ll build from there.
