NEW MUSIC VIDEO "THEN WE KEPT GOING"
When my sister gave me the words, “Then We Kept Going,” a few weeks ago a seed was planted and I knew I had to write a song.
Immediately my mind went to the Bible stories of the perseverance of all those who followed the Lord.
For example, Moses and Abraham's profound obedience. Of course, the disciples and the Apostle Paul.
My mind fast forwarded to current times. I've been inspired by three women in particular in my life. I've watched them weather some very difficult trials.
I dedicate this song to my amazing sister, my beautiful daughter and granddaughter.
I would imagine you too have been inspired by some people, even yourself, who overcame challenges and can say “Then We Kept Going” when you think about them.

Once again a beautiful voice bringing an inspiring message of hope, acknowledgment, possibility and encouragement to keep moving forward.
Your ability to create an entire song in a short time from just a few words is indeed a gift.
Thank you for another "Sunday sermon" as Evangel named your music videos a few comments ago.

I love this song and the post that inspired it. Now that's teamwork! It's also a song I totally relate to. If I need an energy boost to get through another taxing day, this song will cheer me on. If I have too many tasks and not enough time, this song will move me through to completion. And if I feel like throwing in the towel on any day's work, this song will inspire me to keep going. It's so timely for the place I'm in. Thank you!❤️

I love this song. It reminds me of difficult times in my life when I didn't know if I could keep on going. But somehow, by the grace of God, I did. As I listened, tears came to my eyes as I felt such gratitude for being given the strength to continue on and make it through to the other side. Thank you!

I really love the words of this song, the way it came to you, and the video production with the perfect imagery and various biblical passages in support of the message. It's really brilliant.
I wonder if you can explain the last quote, Hebrews 11. It doesn't make sense to me that God would be so cruel as to commend all his faithful for their faithfulness but never deliver on the promises he made to them. Was there a purpose for God doing that? Aren't we told to keep our word, and don't make promises we can't keep? And wouldn't God want to reward the faithful? I see there's a similarity in another quote you added previously, Numbers 14, where God swears to give land to the fathers, but they'll never see it. Maybe I'm misinterpreting since I don't study bible verses, but I don't understand and would love if you would comment back to help clarify. Thanks for sharing another cool song!

I am certainly not an expert in theology but my opinion on this is that God was not being cruel these faithful men simply did not live long enough to see the fulfillment of God's ultimate rescue plan in Jesus. God always keeps His promises but many of them are generational. It's all in God's timing not in ours. Thanks again.

Your music videos really get to me. They leave me amazed and inspired. This one gives me hope because there's the reminder that God gives us whatever we need to keep going. Likewise, it's making me think of all those who made time to lift me up when things weren't so great and helped me keep going. My hope's to help others keep going in similar fashion. If we all get on that treadmill, the world's gonna be okay. Thank you for always surprising me with your very cool songs!
