Imagine eating some tasty mushrooms, commonly served in restaurants in the Yunnan Province of China, and suddenly seeing  little people walking along your dish and climbing all over you. 

According to this article, the tiny Lilliputian people are seen only if the mushrooms aren't cooked for an adequate amount of time. And it's not random. It happens to whoever may eat the undercooked mushrooms.
