That's possibly true. But I believe a lot of people who lament today's political strife are not self-reflective. They're reacting negatively to what's happening, and even adding fuel to the fire. The profound message in the video reminds us that democracy will only survive if virtues drive the electorate, and to acquire virtue people must turn inward and engage with their inner voice. I suspect many decent people aren't even aware that such a voice exists, so they listen instead to all those influencers out there who actually have an axe to grind.
