Emma is a liberator in the truest sense. Through her tireless efforts, she freed these children from lives of hardship and gave them the gift of hope. She nurtured, clothed, and fed them, often working two jobs to ensure they had everything they needed. And now, as her 88-year-old hands scroll through pictures of her foster children—now grown into wonderful human beings—you can hear the pride in her voice.
