When I want to reach a wider audience, I post to the Universe. Each landmark has a Universe posting option which allows all of Youtropolis to see my wish, pledge, lesson, etc. It opens up a whole new audience that can respond and support me.
To post to the Universe, on the post form, tap/click the "Select an audience" menu and check the Universe option (check Futures Exchange for pledges), then once you've completed the form, tap/click the Post button. You'll get a much wider audience which can lead to more visitors to your city and more support for you 😀
