Where is the love?

This is the question many Americans are asking after learning about how new cuts to Medicaid, local hospitals, and food assistance programs will impact their lives.
The Big Beautiful Bill was an attack on the poorest voters in America, especially those in red states, and it was always meant to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes with its alluring name. Maybe those in charge figured their biggest fans would trust them.
One thing none of us can overlook is the cruelty baked into the bill. Those who look at how beautiful it is are only looking at the numbers—how much it will cut, how trim and fit the budget looks, how much less they and their friends will have to pay in taxes. They didn’t care about the humans behind the statistics.
This is the real issue in America—one that few want to look at. In this video, you’ll meet real people who are scared, stretched thin, and fighting to hold on. With the passage of the Big Beautiful Bill, these people are left wondering how they will survive.
America is not made great by a system that systematically rewards the wealthiest while punishing the most vulnerable. One must ask, are we there yet; are we great now?

My heart aches for all the families that are on pins and needles wondering what's going to happen and when. Most of them live on the edge even with the assistance they get, and when that help is taken way, what are they to do? It's beyond cruelty what the government has done. Billionaires get a tax cut and struggling families lose their survival benefits. There's no love in that!

It's infuriating. What are the people who got this bill passed thinking?
Are the guilty parties not concerned that these Medicaid recipients, whose lives are being upended, will have the power to vote many of them out (assuming votes will still matter)?
What stories are the members of Congress telling themselves to justify turning their backs on constituents? They can't possibly believe that for every handicapped child, impoverished senior, or Medicaid-reliant hospital, there are multitudes of good-for-nothing slackers unlawfully collecting government benefits and living in luxury.
