Notable Quotable: Musk On Rockets Bursting In Air

Last month, one of Elon Musk’s rockets blew up minutes after launching, casting its debris across the Caribbean and creating mass chaos as air traffic controllers rushed to divert flights in midair.
After flippantly shrugging off the disastrous explosion as an entertaining spectacle, Musk pressured Donald Trump to fire the head of the FAA who sought to pause further SpaceX experiments and levy a fine. Since that firing, 3 deadly air disasters have already occurred over America’s friendly skies.
What’s particularly notable about Musk’s adolescent response is his insensitivity to the extreme danger the explosion posed. It makes one wonder if Musk is just as entertained by the blowing up of long established federal agencies and the spectacular casting off of thousands of federal employees whose families will fall into hardship.

Sad

He's numb to humanity.

I've read that for someone to build and run an empire and be immensely risk-tolerant, as Musk is, a degree of sociopathy must be present.
He's likely always lived by the credo "It's my world, you're just living in it." This perspective has only been amplified and emboldened by his newly bestowed powers. His nonchalant attitude toward endangering lives with his rocket debris screams, "It sucks to be you."

This is how deal-making works. I fund you and then I own you. Trump says, okay, not a problem, love it, so long as I can keep the crowds cheering. With every deal he makes, he's the puppet and the donor is his master.

Musk is the first President not born in the USA or elected. DJT is an actor (and bad one) playing a role

The American public is largely blinded by the glitz and glitter of celebrity, casting all their hopes, dreams, and fantasies on the power of stardom, living vicariously through them, and imagining them to be superheroes, if not gods. The government, on the other hand, has been degraded to a useless thorn in their side.

He has no soul just like all his pals. The sad thing is some kids want to be him because he's rich. The world already has too many like him, we don't need any more. God save us.

At least no one is interested in buying his cars anymore.
