These warnings are vitally important to heed, but I'm not confident they will be. I want to feel more optimistic about AI being used for the betterment of humankind. However, it would be naive to believe there aren't nefarious organizations, perhaps countries, working toward weaponizing the technology.
Though it could be reasonably argued that, with what it will do to the workforce, it's already a weapon.
