FDA's Latest Outbreak Investigations

There's never been a more important time to start paying attention to what you put into your cart at the supermarket. Before grabbing that bag of lettuce, ice cream tub, or package of bacon, take a gut check and ask: should I or shouldn't I? If you feel any hesitation, don't add it to your cart.

The Trump administration has cut staffing at the USDA by 22,253 over the last 18 months. The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has also cut over 4000 jobs due to losses in federal funding over the same time period.

With so few inspectors, food regulations will be ignored, and food recalls will abound. Safe food can no longer be taken for granted in our country. So, it's up to you to be cautious and keep your antenna up at the supermarket.
