Tips on how to use a post page’s activity bar

Knowledge

Last week, we introduced new changes to our user interface. One important change was to simplify the design of post pages and bring all interactive tools into one activity bar as shown in the image above.

Some tips about the new icons

On desktop, use your cursor to hover over each icon to see what its function is.

Three dot icon

1. Open the three dot menu to edit your own post or bookmark it.

2. When on another founder’s post page, open the three dot menu to report offensive content, send a private message, or bookmark the page. You can also join the city from this menu if you are not yet a member of its tribe.

Comment and repost icons

3. Both the comment and repost icons now display a number to the left of the icon. The comment icon displays the number of comments, and the repost icon displays the number of reposts.

K icon

4. Click the K icon to award kindreds to the city founder who posted a story or comment you like.

Share icon

Use the share icon to email the story or post to your favorite social sites.
