National Day on Writing

Today we celebrate National Day on Writing, sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English.

Writing is a powerful act of courage. It gives you a voice in a democracy, and allows you to give voice to those things that are most meaningful to you.

Write your heart out! Celebrate this day by posting a wish for something you need, sharing a lesson that others can learn from, or making a pledge to give a helping hand to someone in need.

We're all here to help each other, uplift each other, and support each other. Written words can change the world. Let's celebrate that.
