Spanish artist, Antoni Tàpies, came of age during the Spanish Civil War. It left indelible emotional marks in his psyche which he transformed into his life work as a painter where he often inflicted “wounds and scars” into his works of art.
This video is a beautiful and peaceful meditation on his work.
