The Unexpected Visitor!
Sometimes our plans just don’t work out. In fact, sometimes something so unexpected happens, it throws us completely off the track.
And yes, those “unexpected visitors” can be a pain in the neck. True that.
But what I also know is that often the stories we tell at the dinner table are of those unexpected things. They somehow become funny with the passage of time. True or true?
Maybe you’re telling the story about how you spilled coffee all over your shirt right before the presentation. Or perhaps about the bird that flew into your house and got eaten by your cat (true story), or maybe about how your stylist messed up your color and now your hair is green. Whatever the story, you’re telling it. Yes, it was unexpected, but hey, it makes for a fun story to share.
Don’t get too freaked out about the Unexpected Visitor. Unless he bites your head off, you’ll live to tell about it. And even laugh.

You're right, I've had a few laughs over things that weren't so funny at the time.

You're right, but what about those unexpected visitors who stay more than 3 days?
This was a cat that came to have her babies in my closet, and I was scared when I heard the kittens cry when I returned from my trip.

Some visitors do stay for a while, yes. And that can feel like a long time. All we can do at the time is take it a moment at a time. It can be tough, though.

So true! Thank you for reminding all of us that as life happens, roll with the punches, make the best of the unexpected situations then laugh at em later. Namaste
