Do you want to feel happy, full of joy, satisfied? It’s quite simple—GIVE!

There’s nothing more uplifting than Giving, providing support to others. This may sound odd. I mean, who doesn’t like to receive: a compliment, a gift, money, help, etc. Yet studies have proven that giving has multiple health benefits.

If you’re feeling down, or depressed, don’t take a pill to feel better. Find someone who needs help, and help them. It’s like getting a drug-free high. The act of Giving has been known to release a hormone known as oxytocin. This hormone induces a feeling of euphoria and warmth. Not only that, but Giving is a great way to connect with others.

If you want to improve your health, reduce the possibility of heart disease, chronic pain, and lower your blood pressure, Give someone a helping hand; your time and energy.

Genetically, we’re wired to help others; it’s in our DNA—that’s why we feel so good when we put ourselves out; make ourselves available to others. Like yawning, giving is contagious. Imagine the chain reaction you could create with the simple act of Giving!
