Having More Money Won't Make You Rich!
So often I’ve heard people say, “If I had money, all my problems would be solved.” Or, “If I won the Lotto, I’d be able to help so many people.”
Having wealth or success is not the makings of a good or rich life. That’s the misunderstanding. While being wealthy might be able to get you some toys, it won’t buy you happiness. It can’t. Happiness is something that is created from within. No amount of money can give you that.
“The effect you have on people is the most powerful currency there is,” says Jim Carey. What makes him an expert? Well, he’s wealthy and successful by most people’s standards. Yet he understands and relays very well that we are the Wealth. We have it within us to share with the world.
It is what's in us, in our hearts, that remains while everything may crumble around us.
People aren’t remembered because they were rich. They’re remembered for the kind acts they left behind, for the beautiful messages they gave to the world. Gandhi, Mother Theresa, and Martin Luther King, are just a few of those lights that lit up an entire world. Their light still glows.
Is your light turned on?
Evangel
You hit the nail on the head of something so subtle yet true that it seems to escape even the most intelligent people on earth.
The wealth we crave is fully formed within us. Accessing it and putting it to work for a greater good is the foundation of Youtropolis. Liberating ourselves from the more destructive notions, applications, and hierarchies of wealth, position, and status, will be our greatest gift to the future of humankind.

Though there's currently a lot going on in the world that we don't like to see, at least your point about people being remembered for their kind acts and messages still holds true.
