They are confident in their position or are willing to be flexible enough not to feel threatened by another's need, wish, point of view, or whatever is being argued over...unless they are too afraid of saying the wrong thing and must hold their tongue to not anger their opponent or rock the boat any further. This is sadly the climate we are living in now...at least politically.

The climate right now is awful.
