Crimes against humanity!

Across our country, detainees are being treated this way despite national and international laws that make such treatment illegal. Part of the problem is this: the dregs of society are being hired into these jobs and glorified for their exceptional cruelty. A moral person—and I know there are some who work in these detention centers—would not participate in such treatment. Instead, they would likely help the victims of such abuse get their stories to the press. I have read so many stories like these and I am sickened every time.

It's awful. I wonder why this is being allowed to happen. I feel so badly for these poor people.

Humanity is with everyday people. That’s who needs to step up against the government goons and as Nancy Reagan always said : just say no

Sanatana

You're right about the "Say No," but to whom? Those concentration camps are absolutely horrible. I see people protesting, but no one really in the regime doing anything to stop the crimes against humanity.

Slipstream

If this were happening in regular prisons, where there are real criminals, the courts would be all over it. But strawberry pickers, house cleaners, and children are portrayed to be bigger threats than the BTK or Golden State killers. They get three square meals a day because it's the law.

Sanatana

You're right about the difference between a prison where criminals are housed versus these concentration camps. It's atrocious.

Seems to me that detention centers are off limits to even those congressional people. They don't want people knowing what things are like in there. You can't even stand out there and protest without getting yourself locked in handcuffs. Everything being done by this administration seems to be against the law. I salute those who are pushing back with all they got. God bless em!

Sanatana

They're making it impossible to cry out and protest. And yes, the congress members can't even go in. What happens next? This must have been what it was like in 1930's Germany. There is an overall feeling of helplessness. I feel it every day!
