The Beatles is one of my husband's favorite bands. Great music!

This must have been a fun shoot. Nice shot George!

The impersonator in the back on the left resembles John Lennon, oddly enough. I like the way the shot was staged with the Beatles album on display upfront with the vinyl outside of the cover. The lighting is great, too. A truly vintage moment, especially with that old-style carpet on the floor.

I recognized that that album isn't from the Capitol Records catalogue, so I did some research.

Originally scheduled for a July 1963 release, it came out in January '64, on Vee-Jay Records, ten days before Capitol's Meet the Beatles!

For some reason, Meet the Beatles entered the US charts one week before Introducing. When "Meet" peaked at No. 1 for eleven consecutive weeks, Introducing stalled at No. 2, where it stayed for nine weeks.

The Beatles dominated from the start.
