August Super Blue Moon

The first photo was taken with my Samsung Galaxy S Ultra at 100x zoom. Because the Moon doesn't have an active geology, this photo would have looked about the same if I had taken it a billion years ago! 

The Super Moons were even more super back then because the Moon used to be closer to the earth. When it first formed, the Moon was 12-15 times closer and covered in lava!

The second photo was taken with the same camera at a ½ second exposure. One thing that's fun about taking these long exposure lunar photos is that it almost looks like daytime, yet you can still see the stars.
