A Return To Common Sense

Wish has not yet been granted
Wishing Well

Truth is stranger than fiction. Or what once could only be fiction, is now truth. Shame on us.

I wish this were not true. I wish for us to return to our senses. If that's not possible, how about some common sense. Everyone's getting kicked in the butt, except for those who most definitely deserve it.

Slipstream

People who earn the least pay the most. And those who make the most laugh all the way to the bank. It's not only insulting, it's sickening.

Evangel

Yes, it's both those things, and mind-boggling.

Present Valley

Sometimes I have no words to express what I feel about what is happening...only the sinking, sickening sensation in the pit of my stomach.

Evangel

Yes, these extreme, heartless decisions leave us all speechless.

Wilsons Grave

America is Trump's latest business enterprise. He's leveraging its assets for personal gain. It's what all business men do when running their companies. They cheat, they lie, they steal, they negotiate, they extort, they do whatever it takes to compete, grow, win, dominate, and make more money. Nothing else matters to them.

Businesses aren't democracies. Business is business. Isn't that what they say? Business owners have been tipping the scales since before biblical times. Cheating is just part of the game, like being on a golf course. They see nothing wrong with breaking the rules.

America's been a growing business enterprise for a couple hundred years, and it's become a master at swinging its (you know what) since the last century. Trump's just the latest swinger making it more obvious--with all those glittery gold bobbles decking out his oval office now. Yeah it's not right, but maybe it needs to be glaring and painful so that we can all finally get together, sing kumbaya, and put an end to it.

Evangel

That's quite a comment. I can't argue with it either. It rings true. Growing up in Latin America, Americans were resented and hostilities were often flung at us verbally. The common insult I heard more than once was "imperialista"—Spanish for imperialist.
